PIS 3098/1,25MECH.
Filter elements are economically used only if their dirt holding capacity is fully exploited. This is achieved by using filter housings with
a maintenance indicator. The following designs are available: Differential pressure indicator, dynamic pressure indicator/pressure switch/manometer and vacuum switch/indicator/manometer.
- Robust, bypass-free construction
- 2-point display at 75 % and 100 % or signal suppression up to approx. 30 °C on request
- Electrical function easy to retrofit
The accumulation of dirt particles reduces the number of free pores in each filter element. Less and less free cross-section is available to the liquid flow. This results in a pressure increase in front of the element (dirt side).
Mechanical or electronic sensors integrated into the filters or retrofitted react to continuous changes in the pressure conditions, which depend on the degree of contamination, and signal these via pressure gauges or optical and optical-electrical switches, depending on the design. In the case of suction filters, the negative pressure is registered, in the case of pressure filters the differential pressure and in the case of return-line filters the dynamic pressure. You can determine the optimum time for changing the filter elements without any risk.
